The Jonard Tools SPC-MC4 Solar Panel Crimper is designed to crimp MC4 connectors onto 14, 12, or 10 AWG (2. 5 / 4. 0 / 6 mm^2) solar panel wire. This crimper is the perfect tool for installing and maintaining solar panel connector contacts. It features parallel jaws with an adjustable pressure-regulating gear and self-locking design to crimp solar panel connectors perfectly every time. The tool has a built-in ratchet to make crimping quick and easy plus a dual component grip to provide greater comfort and ergonomics. This crimper is made of hardened carbon steel with a black oxide finish for high strength and long life durability. This crimper includes an MC4 crimping die, but it is able to crimp MC3 connectors also by just switching the die with an MC3 die such as our part number SPD-MC3 (sold separately).
